Saffron Pisco Sour

From our friend @risajamesphotography!

"I discovered Pisco Sours on a trip to Chile a few years ago. It’s the national drink of both Chile and Peru. Both countries produce their own Pisco (which is distilled from grapes) and have their own recipes for a Pisco Sour.

This is a Saffron Pisco Sour made with Royal Rose's Saffron Simple Syrup. That's why it has this insanely bright yellow color. And man, was it good!"

SAFFRON PISCO SOUR

1 1/2 oz. Pisco
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
4 teaspoons Royal Rose Saffron simple syrup
Egg white

Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Add one large ice cube and shake hard for 90 seconds. Strain into coupe glass. Once the foam rises, use a dropper to carefully place a few drops of bitters. Drag a toothpick through the drops to create hearts.
